Barry brings decades of experience in governance, hauora Māori, and community leadership. He is currently Kaiwhakahāere for mana whenua i Tāmaki Makaurau and Kaumātua at Turuki Health Care.
With a background in mental health, theology, and addiction services, Barry offers both lived and professional expertise. He sits on several boards and is committed to honest, collaborative relationships grounded in te ao Māori values.
